Solid breakfast in Cincinnati. Hungarian Lentil soup with a Blue Cheese, Walnut and Pear Salad. Like anything with blue cheese in it, there just wasn’t enough
Mazes Grazes… Breakfasts like this come around once in a while. Scrambled eggs, chipotle beancakes, mixed greens, avocado and salsa. Dreaming of eating it again. God bless you Detroit! Jack x

I get concerned about small things and feel compelled to voice my opinion. The reformation of The Stone Roses is one of these things… Professing my love for the band, most of my friends seem bewildered or dismissive. To me the first Stone Roses album and the B-Sides around it are absolutely perfect. It’s a shame that the band were co-opted by a section of society; a section of society that get excited about Beady Eye and Kasabian records and that puts younger generations off. Shame. The band’s releases from 1987 to 1990 represent a culmination of everything great that had gone before… The Roses are part of a line that goes from The Beatles to The Byrds to Big Star to Jesus & Mary Chain… Fool’s Gold could be off Tago Mago… Folk shouldn’t let idiots in kagouls put them off. If anyone missed this, I wrote 35 songs for a project I called ‘Art Is Cheap’. You can read about the ideas behind it HERE and the blog for the project is HERE. I’ve posted about 20 songs on the blog and the other 15 or so will remain the property of the people who requested them. If you read this and have an interesting idea for a song; email me at mazesmazesmazes@gmail.com. Below is my personal favourite from the project… Jack
